​Our birth and postpartum clients can join for free our biweekly walk-in meetings. These meetings offer the opportunity to get relevant information, learn, discuss, and exchange views.

Doula Nathalie & Associates also provides customized birth and postpartum services tailored to your individual needs. From lactation assistance, sibling support, Lamaze classes, prenatal massage, and placenta encapsulation. We offer a comprehensive range of specialized services. Our team is available to assist you during your pregnancy, labor and delivery and after birth.

Biweekly Community Walk-in Meetings

Virtual Walk-in Meeting - for any question you have!

We organize virtual biweekly walk-in meetings to discuss any questions. The walk-in meetings are a complementary service for our clients (you will receive the Zoom link via email), during the meetings we discuss each time a certain topic, but also leave ample time for questions and sharing of experiences. 

Breastfeeding and Lactation Support​​​

Breastfeeding

During the postpartum period, our doulas can help you with questions and challenges you have with breastfeeding. They can help with basic latch techniques, positioning, breast pumps and encouragement. Postpartum doulas take care of you day and night, ensuring you rest and eat well, creating a comfortable environment for you.

If breastfeeding is difficult, like painful latches, we can help you find the right lactation / breastfeeding support. This includes addressing painful latches and concerns about the baby's weight. A lactation consultant can help with finding the causes that may affect the baby's ability to get

A lactation consultant can help you make a plan to achieve your breastfeeding goals based on your diagnosis. The postpartum doula can help with practical tasks such as sterilizing pumping parts. They can also care for the baby while you pump, especially if you need to add more pumping sessions.

​We'll assist you in finding the right lactation consultant and supporting you in achieving your plan with them. Four of our doulas are certified as lactation/breastfeeding consultant.

Sibling Support

Siblings having fun

Some families giving birth do not have close family or trustworthy babysitters available to help with their other kids. We offer on-call sibling support to take care of any older children during birth. This includes a one hour get-to-know you visit and 12- or 24-hours continuous care during labor and birth.

We offer sibling support for $1,180 for 24 hours ($640 for the first 12 hours and $540 for the next 12).

Lamaze Classes​​​

Lamaze draws six health principles from the most recent evidence-based research. These are suggestions designed to simplify the childbirth process and foster self-assurance. Every birth is unique, but all parents can benefit from knowing their options and available information.

​The six health principles are:

• Allow the labor process to start naturally.
• Keep moving, walking and altering positions during labor.
• Have a family member, friend or doula present for constant support.
• Refrain from unnecessary medical interventions.
• There are different birthing positions - hands and knees or a squatting position. Refuse to deliver in a supine position and listen to your body's pushing instincts.
• Maintain close contact between mother and baby, it is beneficial for both, as well as for breastfeeding.

Prenatal Massage​

Prenatal massage

What are the benefits of a prenatal massage? It can help pregnant women with back pain, muscle tightness, and other discomforts experienced during pregnancy. A massage can help with dry skin, back pain, tiredness, and swollen hands and feet, using safe methods. 

​Our team has a certified massage therapist/doula. She specializes in pregnancy and postpartum massages. She would love to work with you.

Placenta Encapsulation​

Placenta encapsulation - pills

People practice placenta encapsulation by ingesting the placenta after steaming, dehydrating, grinding, and placing it into pills. Benefits of postpartum ingestion include reducing postpartum depressions, shortening lochia bleeding, and potentially increasing milk production.
