3. Labor TENS Unit Rental Disclaimer

Doula Nathalie & Associates, LLC offers Labor TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) Units for rent as a non-invasive, medication-free option for labor pain management.

  • User Responsibility: The provision or rental of a TENS Unit does not constitute medical instruction or a clinical prescription.
  • Contraindications: Consult with your primary healthcare provider (OB-GYN or Midwife) before using a TENS unit. TENS units should never be used by individuals with cardiac pacemakers, specific heart conditions, diagnosed epilepsy, or prior to the 37th week of pregnancy unless explicitly directed by a physician.
  • Assumption of Risk: By renting or using a TENS unit provided by our agency, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and have cleared its usage with your medical team.
